One weeks vacation....

is finished or soon I have monday off tomorrow to but my hubbys vacation is over... We spent one week in Gran Canaria by the pool in the sun reading books it was great it really was what we needed after this fall...

As always (almost) when we are going some where with airplane we are having some problems, we got there almost a day late because of problems with the planes that made 32 people the "honor" to get take an other flight with a regular plane and make a stop in Barcelona on the why there... It dosen't really feel like an honor but the lady that called us, almost sounded like it was a good thing... just hoping that we will get some money back or i don't know what i'll do...

Tomorrow I have an appointment at the dentist lots of fun... *not* and after that i'll have lunch with a friend and her new born baby girl and the big sister that will be great... Love kids...

Had my oldest friend and her husband here today and their son here for lunch to day and it is so great to have a baby around they give you sooooo much energy, babies are the best. It is great that i have lots of friends around me that have babies i can borrow and cuddle with...

Okay know i'm of to meet my hubby and have dinner with an other friend of ours...

Day off

To day I have a day off from work, it feels great i could sleep as long as i wanted to, have breakfast in the couch watching TV. Get some laundry done, get the dishes done and meet two old friends of mine... I was supposed to get some vacuuming done to but hey that I can do tomorrow since i have tomorrow off to, life is good...

My husband is a way with work so I get to spend my days off with friends that is great even if i would have loved spending it with the husband.

I don't really know what to write here, and if there is any one how i reading but I'll write some about my life and whats going on and see if anyone is reading and maybe I'll get some ides of what to write about.

This week I'll buy a gym card, hopefully I'll be good at using it, specially since i really need it. There is a gym in the little "town" next to where I live so I'll need to take my car there but i hope i can get a routine that i'll go there twice every week that is my first goal.

Okay need to get ready to go see my friends...

Hösten gör en så trött och seg, jag hade ledig dag i går vilken jag hade längtat efter, men när den väl kom var den bra grå och tråkig så jag tyckte inte om den... längtar efter sol och värme, hoppas på att få till en semester med maken här under hösten det vore så skönt, både för min kropp och för oss. Yes i think it really is time, but i still have lots to do in school and i don't really like it right know. I want to be social talk to people meet people and just enjoining Christmas but NO that is not for my i so hope that 2010 will be a better year for that. I'm writing on my final paper for school plan to be done on jan 3th at the latest. and like that wouldn't be enough to do i'll be working during christmas so i have to spend time to for preparations. I'll have to church service one on the 24th at 11 am and one on the 25th at 7 am, i'm looking forward to do that but not to all work before but i hope God will be good to me and make it come easy so i can spend most of my time on school...

Winter is really here and i soooooo LOVE it i Love all the snow and the cold weather today we had -14 C ( 7 F) I just love to be outside and see the nature being so wonderful. God really created a great world to live in...

Now of to the Movie... I have the best husband to be....

So just another short update...
It's mostly school work going on here either writing reading or thinking about that i have to... I sooo want to be done with school but soon I'll be....

I have a room in Uppsala know for the next and last semester, and i think that is great, it is a room almost on the school so that i like...

This weekend will have a lot of fun happening on Friday me friend Annelie will come and spend the night and on Saturday she help me look over the paper i'm writing for school and then on Saturdat evening we are going to a birthday party and then on Sunday i'll be working in church I'll have to church service on at 10 with (hopefully) lots of families and kids and one in the afternoon/evening a more traditional one, i hope moth will be good...

Okej back to school i might report some from the weekend...

I almost forgot I'll have a friend over for lunch on Friday to...

I have lots to do in school so don't have time to write here, I was planing on showing you pics from Berlin but I'll have to do that an other time. The fall is here the leaves are changing color, today the sun is out so it is a wonderful day, i hope i'll be abel to go for a walk before it is dark, it is getting dark between 5 and 6 here now so not that much time in the evening to be out side, specially since we live in the middle of now where.... No street light... But is i cosy to sit in side watching TV having dinner and start a fire...

Baking

Today I've been baking, an apple cake, We have lots of apples so i thought i need to do something with them so I've been baking a cake for next saturday when we will have birthday party here for Andreas and is brother, a chance for the family to see our house so we'll have to clean this week and try to get some things put away and in order.

This week i've been a good student, i would like for things to go faster but i do have got some work done and are getting closer to the end of this paper, i so hope to have this done by the end of this month so i can do the last thing i have done during november and will have time to finsch up some other things i December and prepare for christmas and the weeding.

The invitations cards are almost done by next weekend they will have to be done and send out.

I'll be in Germany 3 days this week I'm going to Berlin with the Church council and the staff that will be so much fun, and then next sunday i'll work in church to so i need to prepare for that to... Lots to do right now but it is fun too so that is good...

Need to go, have to hang the laundry....

Fried green tomatoes...

Remember that movie??
I liked it, i think at least what i remember... so why Fried green tomatoes, this spring i thought i should plant some tomato seeds so i did, i had/have maybe 20 plants and now with the fall coming I can't leave the tomatoes outside any longer so my windows are now full with green tomatoes that i'm hopping one day will be read, some friend told me you can make pickles with green tomatoes i might test that next weekend... It is kind of beautiful with all the green tomatoes and some read ones to, instead of some other decoration in the window...

Today I've been in school reading, i was very tired, but still got some pages read so i'm thankful that i did go to school... i hope i wanted be that tired tomorrow really need to get some reading and writing done...

And one fun thing will happen tomorrow to, I'll go to a friend and get the invitations for the wedding done, she is a great scrap booker so i hope she will be abel to help me and the best part she knows how all to use all the things and make them look good...

Okay time to watch tv and just have a relaxing evening....

Dining room

Finally it is almost done, as always when you buy at IKEA you can't bee sure to get everything at one time, so we are missing a door, Andreas is hopefully get one now so we can finish this evening or tomorrow... but i did take some pictures at it right now to show you I really like it. We had a hard time choosing the color it was between white or black and I'm glad we where brave to choose the black ones.... I hope you enjoy... I'll take more pictures to show you around the house as we are getting more and more settled around here...

As you can see it is drawers it is six big once that we have all plats, cups and glasses. I just love IKEAs kitchen things, specially the drawers because you can see everything you have in them it is easy to organize... I love my new dining room...

Hope you enjoy the pictures now we just need a new microwave that matches the style in the rest of the kitchen...

The weekend have been great, We finished the dining room and yesterday had a friend over for dinner, it has been a good relaxing weekend to make me ready for a whole week of hard school work...

Okay I'm going to get some thing done around here but soon I'll make new post to show you all my tomatoes....

I have been good

for two days know... then this morning I wasn't that tired but i still didn't make out of the bed, so at 9 i came down stars to drink the start the fire. Now that is done so soon i hope it will be warmer in here. It is raining outside, the fall is really here now... I took in all me tomatoes yesterday so know me windowsills are full with green tomatoes, was planing to take a picture for you but the big computer is not at home so we just have to wait... I do want to have more pictures on my blogg need to be better at that when the Big computer is at home again. I do like my house it's cosy, i'll show you all later when i can take pictures we are fixing the dining area right know so it is a big mess all our plates and cups and drinking glasses are on our table so we can't sit there and eat, I sooo hope we will be done puting everything together tomorrow.

I don't think i've told on here that we'll get married sooon... the date will be january 23. so it is alot of things to do know... right know (when we are not fixing the dining area) we are doing or invitation cards, it is fun but lots to do...

I did find a picture to put on here it is from the day we got the keys to our house... we came out here and walked around and then took pictures of us in front of the house...

What to do?

I know what I'm supposed to do, but I just have a hard time to get started on doing that it is always lots of other fun thins to do, planing on what cupboard to by to the dining room/ kitchen the kitchen in our house is small so we need to have some of the plates and stuff in the dining room so now we are going to buy new cupboard for that, and that is lots more fun to look at then doing my school work. Even doing laundry is more fun i don't really understand but that is life guess...

Next week I'll go to the library to do the school work, then I can't do all the other things... I think that is a good plan for me...

I just had two friends here for lunch we had lasagna it was really good, first time i made that kind whit Zucchini instead of pasta really good.

I need to get the other computer working so i can show you some pictures of the house and all other things that has happened around here...

Okay i guess i should get some school work done before something else is distracting me.

I'm one step closer to be done in school, and it feels great... it is like the best feeling ever, i so want to be done NOW but i'll be done by Christmas and that is great...

Long time....

A whole summer, yes that is a long time... may 13th was the last time i wrote maybe I'll try to be better this fall.

The summer has been good, we moved in to our house we have lived here 2 month now and we just love it, I'll just have to see what i think i winter time if i still love it, but summer time is great. Andreas started working this summer to and i think he enjoys it he hasn't been complaining o much about it jet. I have been working this summer to, both in church and at my other "extra" job that i actually quit from this week after 8 years, it is a good step but it is sad to. But with us moving and me getting a job in a church the extra job isn't a good extra job any more.

I spent one week in Taizé with a group of youth from the church i've been working in. Taizé is great i Love being there, it is a big difference to be the group leader and to be there for your self but it was still a very good week, I hope i'll get to go there soon again, and that it want take 6 years this time.

I was planing on showing you some pictures but i don't have any on this computer so i'll have to do that an other time. Need to get some school work done today...

I found this on one of the bloggs I'm reading, thought it was fun, each Friday you are supposed to show different rooms of your home, this week is or was living room, so this is my living room.

We will be moving in 2 month so this is for me too, to remember what this apartment looked like.

This picture shows the living room from the angel you walk in to it. I don't really like the curtains but since we are moving I want buy any new. I do like the big window that gives the room lots of light. I also like to have the couches face each other it makes it easier to be social when people come visit.

This photo is taken by the dresser in the other picture. I like the fireplace but it makes it hard to place the Tv in a good place.

I like the stuff i have on the dresser and the fireplace, I love candles, so i like having them in many different places.

The candles on top of the fireplace i got for my birthday from some friends i really like the color on them.

As you can see I like blue very much but i think I'm starting to grow out of it and enjoying other colors too.

Here is the dresser, i really like everything that is on it. The painting in the back is from my boyfriend, and again you see the candles on there... Ohh and the little box

is an birthday present that i got from a good friend a couple of years ago, it has small cards in it that will remind you of Jesus, example one card has an band-aid on and i says "a band-aid, reminds you that Jesus is the one how heal your wounds"
I just love to have that box around that gives me a lot of comfort...

We have bought a house... For some of you this is old news but i haven't written about that on the blogg... So we bought a small house out side of Linköping, close to were Andreas will work.

We'll move to the house in the end of June beginning of July, it will be lots of fun and lots och changes I will not be able to take a 30 min walk to get down town... but i think I'll like it.

It is almost two month since I wrote lats time...
Lots have happened but don't know what to write about it. The biggest thing is that i got engaged, so next year I'll get married... Hurray...

It is time...

to write again... It has been so much going on I haven't had the time to write. Or first I didn't know what to write and now when Christmas is over there is a lot to write about. I did three weeks of internship in a church in Linköping, the city next to Norrköping. It was great, i really loved being in that congregation and with the staff there. I was planing on taking some pictures to show you what the church looks like but forgott the camera but if or when i go visit i'll bring the camera. On sunday I had the sermon it was lots of fun and people came upp to me after and thankt me for it so i think it was a good one...

And Christmas has been great, In Sweden the Big day to celebrate is Dec 24, Christmas eve(day) so we started that day with going to Andreas family had the traditional Christmas food, Ham, Meatballs, sausage, herring, Salmon, ribs and a lot of other stuff that i don't remember... And then at 2:30 we drove to my parents. and here at 3 they show short shots from Disney movies for an hour and it is a tradition for many families to watch and so is for my so we all sat down by the TV and watched. And after that it was time for my mom to fix the traditional Christmas food again... so around 5 we had the same meal as we did at Andreas parents... do i have to tell you that we full after that??? And then we opened gifts and just enjoyed being together and by midnight we went to church...

It was a great Christmas and a great December... I'll show you pictures later... Need to get some school work done...

Can't sleep...

It is 04:36 am here, i did sleep or rest from 10 pm and about 2 hours, but then i couldn't stay in bed. I'm not feeling to go, i think i have urinary infection, so I'm waiting for the doctors office to open. Drinking lots of water and running to the bathroom is what I've been doing the last 4 hours, it is just 3½ left till they open so i can call and get an appointment.

O well maybe i should write about something more exciting. Just don't know what, This weekend we cleaned the apartment. So now our home is prepared for advent and we can start waiting for Christmas. We also went to the church were Andreas grow up and meet some of his friends i really enjoy being around them. After that we were supposed to go out and have dinner, but we were to tired so we stayed home. Today (or Sunday) we went to church at 10, and then to Andreas parents for lunch, then i had to be in the church were I'm doing my internship. So it was a great first of advent, but a really long day. And now with me feeling not to good, i could say the end wasn't to good, but it actually is the Monday that didn't turn out so good. I don't know if I'll be abel to do my internship today, I'll just have to wait and see what the doctor say...

One good thing with bloging now is that time goes a faster, it is just 3 h and 10 min left...

Snow...

Sorry i haven't up dated the blogg, but time just fly by...

The first real snow is here, I LOVE it, i just wish it's here to stay but i guess it will be gone by the end of this week... I love the winter, when the snow is here and you can be outside skiing or just play in the snow.

I'll be home for three weeks now, i'm going to be doing some internship in a church in Linköping, I'll have my first day tomorrow. I think it will be lots of fun, but i do miss Uppsala and my new friends there.

If you are reading (someone special) i just want you to know that i'm thinking of you. Life is not fair, and i don't understand why... But i know God will help you though this.

I was planing on taking some pictuers to show you our house with the snow but it is to dark know.

Oh i need to tell you that we are looking in to buy a house. We had one thet we thought we wanted but when we saw it, we understood that it wasn't for us. But today we went to the bank to see if they would borrow us the money if we find the house we want, and they will is it so great... we are so happy... maybe we'll have our own house soon....

Need to go to bed. I'll try to writte soon again.

Tired

it is Sunday and I'm tired. Tired because the weekend is to short, tired because I need to pack my stuff to go to school tomorrow. Tired of always feeling like I'm living in a suitcase... I did my laundry today so I hope my cloth will be dry enough... I'm tired of always feeling that i don't have enough time. Not enough to take care of the apartment, to cook, to be with friends and family, to have the lift i would like to. I'm so tired all the time right now.

The good thing is that i really do like school now and that's a long time since i had that feeling. And i also have a great boyfriend that understands be... But he is just home friday to sunday because during week he is in school... I'm so looking forward to when he'll be home and we can start a "normal" life together.

An other good thing is that school really helps me to keep contact with good. We have services both in the morning and after lunch. And since everyone at my school will be a pastor one day, the services gives so much. They really help me keep going, I don't know what i would do with out them.

I need to go pack my stuff and get to bed so I don't miss the train tomorrow....

All Saints day

Here we have one Sunday every year that we celebrate all saint. That day is also the day when the church recognizes all the people that past away since last all saints day. We celebrated this day, this weekend, so we went to church, we toke the one that Andreas dad singing in, he sings in a choir and they were in the service. I had never been in that church before, I liked it a lot. I'll show you some pictures from it. Andreas had the camera and toke a lot of pictures of the church.

I haven't taken the pictures of the church in Uppsala jet, I'll see if i get that done this week.

This weekend was a great relaxing weekend accept from Saturday morning when I hade to work.
My class was finisched on wendsday and the new one startes tomorrow (Monday). So I had no school work to do this weekend and that was great. Just spend time with Andreas, Friendes and family, I like that a lot.

People light the candels for ther friendes and family most people light them for people that past a way. I like when is it a lot of candels in the church. here they have placed them in a cross...

Sunday evning

It is Sunday again, that means back to school tomorrow, early morning to catch the train. So i need to pack all things that I'll need during the week in Uppsala. I'm bringing my camera so i can take pictures of the big church there and maybe of my school too.

This weekend we both haven't been feeling to good. I had a bad cold that I past on to Andreas. But yesterday it was "Octoberfest" a big party at our friends it was lots of fun. But since we both were tired we left early slept in this morning, good thing we get to turn to wintertime this weekend. We had lunch at Andreas parents and after that it was time to go to his cousins goodbye party, she is going to Tanzania for 6 month. She is going to work in a school and teach kids english. We hope and pray that she will have a great time and it was good to see her a last time before she leavs....

So this is our weekend almost, i forgotte I had to work yesterday and Andreas helped our friends move in to there new house. After work i could go there to and see there houes, i so want my own house right now but I'll have to wait for us to be done with school first...

Okay i guess i need to go and pack my things... I'll write again when i'm back from Uppsala...

Back in Uppsala

I'm back in school... it is a very busy week here. Lots of things to do in school. This is the big church in Uppsala i haven't been in there jet i'll try to have time to go there next week... take some pictures to show you what the inside looks like... Tomorrow i'll take the train back to Norrköping and Andreas as all ready home. so we will have a long weekend together that in nice. But i'll have alot of school work to do. Next week is the last one in this subject so we'll have to get everything done so we can start the new class the week after... it is fun, but it is hard and tirering to. I'm getting a cold to so i guess i'll have to sleep this weekend to to be abel to finsch next week in school...

Last day

of my Internship. It has been great. I just love working in the church meeting people and just being in the church. But it is nice to go back to school on Monday to, as long as i get my report written.

The picture above is from the other Church. This congregation that i've been in has two churches. The one you have seen before the really old one and then this one and if i remember right this one is from 1994. It is a smaller one but i really like it to. I like both very much and i think it is fun to have to churches that are so different from each other.

This weekend Andreas isn't coming home from school. So tonight I'll go to Church and meet the youth there. They have a café for the kids to have a place to hang out at on Fridays instead of being out drinking or doing other stupid stuff. I think this is a good thing so i'm looking forward to go there tonight.

Tomorrow i'll spend the day with my nice. We'll go shopping and also go and have someone help us with our make up. They have a store here were you get an appointment and then they will help you finde good colors for you and also show you how to use it. I think that will be lots of fun... Then we are going to watch girl moveis and just hang out.
Think that will be a great weekend thing to do...

To give Thanks

Todays Sunday is the Sunday that the farmers took some of there harvest to the church and gave thanks for everything that the harvest gave this year. So to today is a day that remind to be thankful for everything that God gives us. In my sermon today i talked about how we need to be better at thanking for all the Good things we have in life. To say thanks for small things and big things and also all those things we take for granted.

Thanks for being Loved, for Friends and family. For the sun, for the fall and all the beautiful leafs. Thanks for giving me the daily bread. and thanks for everything else you give in life...

I told you earlier this week that i should take some more pictures from the inside of the old church so i'll post them under here...

Birthday

Tomorrow is Andreas Birthday so we had a little celebration with families today we were 23 people in our apartment. We had pie and salad and cake and coffee. Andreas mother made the cake, I'll post a picture of them.

I was in church today to the had a baptism of a baby boy, and then we had a meeting with a couple that will get married, so it was a fun but intense day.

Yesterday we where cleaning the apartment so we could have people over here today. I was also baking bread and pies for everyone. 3 with meat and two vegetarian. I had never done that kind before but they turned out okay.

Thursday i had my youngest nice her she is so adorable. I took her for a walk and then i took her home to her dad, so that her big sister could help me. Her big sister is16 so she is a good helper. I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews. The two oldest are 19 and 16 so we are almost more like siblings and the youngest to are 2 years and 7 month.

Tomorrow I'll have a sermon at the late service in a small church lot newer then the other one. this one is built 1994 i think. But I'll be in the early service to and take some pictures of the church to show you. So think I need to go to bed now so I'll make it to church in time...

This is the church i'm doing my intern in. It is the oldest church in Norrköping, and maybe even the oldest building. They started to build the church 1100 so it is an OLD Church... I'll take some pictures from inside on Saturday or Sunday. To give you a picture of what it looks like. To day I was on a Retierment home or it is a place where people stay when have been at the hospital and can't go back home, mostly old people. We had a service there. After that they had lunch, Soup lunch for how ever can come, mostly older people there to. And this evning i spend some time with the youth gruop it was fun. We played TP my team lost :P but we did have a good time.

Tomorrow is my day of, but i have to spend some time writing a sermon for Sunday. But in the afternoon i'll have my youngest nice her she i 7 month... Haven't seens her this last month so i think it's time now... She is so cute... i'll take som pictuers of her and post her so you can see here.

I'm really in to blogging now. It is fun to see that people do read. So i thought i should tell you about whats going on in my life right now.

I'm in school in Uppsala, which is a city North of Norrköping. I will be there this semester except for six weeks when i'll be doing Internship in two different Churches one that I'm in right now that is here in Norrköping. I'm following a pastor and doing some services and preaching. I'll be in this church 3 weeks and this is my second week, time just fly by. The other 3 weeks i'll be with a pastor in a church in Linköping which is 30 min from Norrköping with, Bus, train and car. It is really fun to see more of what the life as a pastor will look like.

Andreas is in school, he'll be done in June really looking forward to that. This week he is home and that is nice to have him close.

I think i'll go back to writing a sermon for sunday... but i'll be back here soon and let you know whats going on in my life...

Fall

The fall is here, me and my nice planted this yesterday to put out on the stairs up to our house. I thought that I should start blogging and doing it in english for all my friends that i don't see that often. My english isn't the best but i hope you still will underatand me... So enjoy and hope you like what you read...

att börja blogga.... Nu har hela sommaren gott... Sommaren har varit god, Resa till familjen och vännerna och så lite jobb... kan det bli bättre.... så är det dags för skolan nu igen. Det känns som om det kan bli kul att få plugga igen... träffa nya människor och se en ny stad...

Det finns så mycket som sårar än här i livet... det största just nu är frågan om ens vänner verkligen är ens vänner eller bara falska människor som så många vänner tidigare har varit...
Ibland känns det så, som allt bara är en stor bluff... inte riktigt någonstans... som vänner bara för att men inte riktiga riktiga vänner, såna man alltid kan vända sig till och prata om allt med... jag saknar en sån vän... det finns mycket jag skulle vilja prata om nu... men men jag fortsätter att ha det i mig, det kommer ut till sist....

Alla andra bloggar ju så det är väl dags för mig med att börja försöka skriva på en blogg.... jag tänkte skriva om allt mellan himmel och jord... så för den som vill håll till godo...

Idag städar jag och bakar bröd det känns skönt att inte sitta och läsa. Tentan lämnades in i går i tid nu är det bara en liten uppsats som ska skrivas sen är den här terminen avklarad det känns skönt...

Nu ska jag torka golvet så har inte tid att sitta här....
